On this 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, we remember and mourn those who lost their lives, and we honor those who survived the unthinkable. We also honor the courageous first responders who answered the call that day, putting their own lives at risk to save others. We especially remember FDNY Firefighter Frank Anthony Palombo, beloved father of Maria Suazo and father-in-law of James Suazo, a valued member of the Baron Financial Group team for over a decade. We honor Frank’s courage, service, sacrifice, and the many lives he touched. May his memory, and the memory of all those lost on September 11, always be a blessing.

The ANCHOR program is available for eligible New Jersey residents who owned or rented their main residence as of October 1, 2025. If you are a New Jersey resident who is 65 and older or was receiving Social Security Disability benefits on December 31, 2025, you can now submit a single application for Property Tax Relief for tax year 2025. For easy reference, the following information has been gathered from the NJ Treasury - Division of Taxation website for Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs.

Fran Weizman has retired from her full-time role at Baron Financial Group after nearly 20 years with us. We wish her a retirement filled with health, happiness, exciting travel, good books and plenty of Mahjong wins! We have been honored to present scholarships to 32 Fair Lawn High School graduates over 16 years. This year we are pleased to award a Baron Financial Group scholarship to two deserving graduates from the class of 2026 who are continuing their education in a business program

Continuing our tradition of supporting Spectrum for Living, Baron Financial Group proudly sponsored the organization's Annual Walkathon – 5K, Walk & Doggie Dash, as well as Sipping for Spectrum, a lively bar crawl in Hoboken, NJ. Victor and Victoria participated in the Annual Walkathon, while Victoria also attended Sipping for Spectrum. The Cannillo family remains actively involved in Spectrum for Living's fundraising efforts throughout the year.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary our nation’s Independence, the Semiquincentennial, we honor the courageous men and women dedicated to preserving our freedom.
