Frequently Asked Questions

What are some of the ways we differ from many financial firms?

The combination of a fiduciary responsibility and independence sets us apart from many other financial advisors. As a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), Baron Financial Group is not influenced by the sale of any investment or insurance products. Our investment recommendations are focused exclusively on meeting the objectives of our clients and not on generating commissions from selling products.  All Registered Investment Advisers are held to a fiduciary standard and must put the interests of our clients first.

Not all firms include comprehensive financial planning as part of their investment management service.  We provide financial planning services as an added benefit, included in the money management services. Our financial planning is integral to our investment plan and includes advice on anything to do with a $ sign.  View all the services we can provide.

Who is the custodian for my accounts?

Your money is held in custody at an independent custodian, not with Baron Financial Group.  We choose to use Charles Schwab as the custodian, based on their ability to provide competitive trade execution, cybersecurity and fraud protection, research, and other services which will help us in providing investment management services to clients.

Who will I work with?

Every client is a client of the firm.  You will have a dedicated team with 2 advisors and 1 client service specialist.  This aims to provide you with consistency and accessibility when working with us.   Get to know our team.

How is Baron compensated for the service I receive?

Our sole compensation comes from the client. We do not sell any products nor are we influenced by outside interests. The relationship is solely between client and advisor.

Our transparent fee will be based on the following schedule as a percentage of the "assets under advisory service" and will be billed on a quarterly basis:

1.00% on the first $2,000,000

0.75% on amounts greater than $2,000,000 and up to $5,000,000

0.50% on any amount over $5,000,000

For clients with investment management, there will be an initial one-time planning fee of $2,500 which is waived if the initial managed account value is $500,000 or greater.

We receive no other compensation in addition to the advisory fee you pay.

Limited Negotiability of Advisory Fees: Although Baron Financial Group, LLC has established the aforementioned fee schedule(s), we retain the discretion to negotiate alternative fees on a client-by- client basis. Client facts, circumstances and needs are considered in determining the fee schedule. These include the complexity of the client, assets to be placed under management, anticipated future additional assets; related accounts; portfolio style, account composition, reports, among other factors. We may group certain related client accounts for the purposes of determining the annualized fee. Discounts, not generally available to our advisory clients, may be offered to family members and friends of associated persons of our firm and charitable organizations.

View our Form CRS (Customer Relationship Summary) for more information about our fees and our firm.
