Baron Advisor James Suazo, ChFC®, pays it forward

A 60-second read by the Baron Team:    James Jacob Suazo, Baron Financial Group Advisor, recently joined the board of directors for The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC). As an SFIC scholarship recipient, James is enthusiastic about the impact it had in his life and its importance going forward.  

SFIC is a non-profit organization that provides children in need with the opportunity for a quality, values-based education in a safe environment.  Scholarships are based on need without regard to religion, gender, race, or ethnic background. For more information, visit www.sficnj.org.

Growing up in Union City, New Jersey, one of 12 children, a private Catholic school education may not have been possible without the help of The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children. His parents, David and Carmen Suazo, instilled in James the importance  of faith and education and modeled a life dedicated to helping others.

His passion for helping others led him to the field of financial planning and investment management, where he  enjoys making a positive difference in our clients’ lives.  As a Chartered Financial Consultant, James helps clients with all aspects of personal financial planning, with a focus on practical real-world applications.  He has been serving clients for over 10 years with Baron Financial Group.

Outside of Baron, James and his wife Maria care for their growing family of five children, and serve as youth group mentors in their local community.
