Fran Weizman’s Retirement: A Baron Team Update from Victor

Dear Clients and Friends,

I wanted to personally share with you our recent Baron Team update. After almost 20 years at Baron Financial Group, Fran Weizman has retired from her full-time position. We wish her a retirement filled with health, happiness, exciting travel, good books and plenty of Mahjong wins! I am happy to report that we won’t be saying goodbye, as Fran has agreed to stay on as a consultant when needed, and we will continue to see her at our events, as well as our Baron lunches and parking-lot walks.  

Here is a message from Fran:

It is with mixed feelings that I move on to the next chapter of my life in retirement.  Although, like many of you, I am looking forward to enjoying the benefits of retirement, including more time with my family, I will also miss the many people I have met through my years at Baron. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you and learning about your lives and families.  I have been fortunate to meet many of you in the office and at our events. For some, I may not have met you in person, but we’ve spoken on the phone and shared emails. I am grateful that you have shared so many personal stories with me and you allowed me to share mine with you.

Most of all, I will miss seeing my Baron Family on a regular basis.  Baron has been more than just a place to work.  It truly is a family, a team of individuals, working together who care about one another, our clients, and the work they are doing.  I can’t thank Victor, Tony, James, Lucy, Angela, Victoria and Greg enough.  You have all been a joy to be around.  Victor, and Tony, thank you for allowing me to grow in this job and providing a positive environment where I could flourish.

We previously introduced you to Colleen, who will be taking over in my capacity in communications and compliance services. We have had the opportunity to work and learn together for the last six months, and I know the transition will be seamless. Colleen is a warm and dedicated professional who will bring her own distinct personality and experience to the team.

I wish you all the very best and I hope to see you in October at the next Baron event!
