Baron Team VideosOctober is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and a good time to remind everyone to be vigilant when it comes to preventing fraud. It is especially important to let us know if you receive any suspicious calls or emails related to your Baron accounts.
Baron Financial Group is committed to the protection and security of your personal information. As part of our Responsible Guidance platform, we have created a multi-part video series to educate you on Cybersecurity.
Part 2 of our series discusses how we protect your data through our cybersecurity program, which includes:
- Client Education
- Staff Training
- Strict Money-Movement Policies
- Use of Two-Factor Authentication
- A Risk Assessment Review
For Baron clients, we encourage you to contact us if you suspect fraudulent activity and we can guide you through the process.
For enhanced security with your Baron portal, multi-factor authentication will be enabled starting in November. You will receive a one-time-password via email upon sign-in. Look out for an email next month with more details.
The Baron client portal is expected to go through an update in the coming months and could be as early as January. Although it may be organized a bit differently, the same information will be there and there will be options to further customize your information. Once the date for the update is finalized, we will provide further guidance.
