Continuing Our Tradition: BFG Scholarship in Its 10th Consecutive Year

We are proud to have presented a Baron Financial Scholarship for the past 10 years to two Fair Lawn High School Class graduates each year who are continuing their education in a business program.  We are honored to help these deserving students further their education!

One of our two 2020 recipients is Risa Kanai.  Risa tells us she is planning to study at New York University. “For the first two years, I am enrolling in their Liberal Studies Core Program, which is a two- year program that allows me to experiment from a wide range of subjects and by junior year I will transfer out of the program and into one of NYU’s other various schools after declaring a major (hopefully their prestigious Stern Business school).”

Risa’s career goal, at this time, is to become a bilingual product marketing specialist in the video game industry, specifically in the field of localization of foreign games.

This year was a particularly challenging year for all graduates.  We wish them success in their future studies!
