BFG at the ballpark: We say “Thank You” to Our Clients and Friends

Philanthropy Baron Team

Baron Financial Group was happy to return to the ballpark to host a client-appreciation event at the spring-training home of the Baltimore Orioles. The March 24th game versus the New York Yankees ended with a win for the Orioles in the bottom of the ninth inning.  Yankee and Oriole fans alike enjoyed the beautiful weather, the good food, and the exciting game!  This was our sixth year hosting a client event at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida.  We are always happy to welcome the Oriole Bird to the suite!

Fun facts about the “Oriole Bird” (from the Baltimore Orioles Website):

  • Doesn’t have a nickname – goes by Oriole Bird
  • "Hatched" out of a giant egg prior to the team's 1979 season opener at Memorial Stadium on April 6.
  • It would not be until the early 1990s, when the Orioles began to play at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, for The Bird to have the modern, familiar look.
  • Favorite foods are "mostly bird seed, with occasional crab cake”

It is our custom to donate to a local charity whenever we host a client-appreciation event.  Continuing with our tradition, a donation has been made in honor of our clients and friends to the “All Faiths Food Bank” in Sarasota.

Baron’s purpose is to help our clients reach their financial goals and to secure a better future for them and their families. In keeping with our goal to help others with their financial security, the firm is committed to helping those less fortunate.
