Jim (jamess@baron-financial.com), is a Wealth Management Principal with Baron Financial Group and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), with fifteen years of experience as a Registered Investment Advisor. The ChFC® designation is the highest standard of knowledge and trust in Financial Planning. The CFP® certification is recognized as a standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning. CFP® professionals have met rigorous professional standards and are required to act in their clients’ best interests.

Jim prides himself in his ability to look at an individual’s life in a comprehensive manner, helping clients to plan for the future and achieve their financial goals. His expertise in wealth management has resulted in his many appearances in national publications, such as, The Wall Street Journal, Smart Money Magazine, Bottom Line, Bloomberg, and Dow Jones Newswire, and on broadcast television, including PBS’ Nightly Business Report.

Before his affiliation with Baron, Jim worked at the senior level in finance at several Fortune 500 companies, including Bertelsmann Music Group and Pearson Education. As a result of his academic and work experience, Jim brings a strong finance background to the Baron Financial Group.

Jim is also an award-winning composer of soundtrack music. His music has been heard internationally on television and radio. He is a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council, Estate Planning Council of Bergen County, the Financial Planning Association, and the Rutgers Alumni Association. He has served on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton.

Jim is married and lives with his wife and two children, Roger and Rosemary. He enjoys music and movies.
