Baron Financial Group is pleased to present, for the second year, a Baron Financial Group Scholarship, to two deserving Fair Lawn High School graduates from the class of 2012. Both graduates plan to continue their studies at the business schools of their respective universities. Tyler Ashe will be attending Ithaca College, in Ithaca, New York at the School of Business, pursuing a degree in accounting. Danielle Hoshia will study accounting and finance at Rutgers University, School of Business, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The Benante family, along with support from Baron Financial Group, helped raise money for Lou Gehrig’s Disease research and to support those afflicted by this crippling disease, during the ALS annual fundraising walk in their Sarasota community.
The Helmut’s Hikers raised over $7,000, well over their expected goal.
Victor Cannillo of Baron Financial Group spoke to students in the William Paterson University Financial Planning Program on February 17th 2011. Victor answered questions about the financial planning profession, gave interviewing advice to soon-to-be graduates, and defined the unique qualifications that distinguish a Fee-Only Advisor.
Laura Mattia of Baron Financial Group, spoke to Rutgers University Students from the Rutgers’ Finance Society on February 14, 2011, about the Financial Planning profession. Laura fielded questions from students regarding careers in the industry and the educational requirements for the CFP designation.

“Investing Intelligently in Volatile Times,” was presented by Laura Mattia of Baron Financial Group at the Ridgewood Public Library, in Ridgewood NJ on November 8, 2010.

Laura joined other financial planners offering free advice on financial planning, budgeting, retirement planning, debt management, paying for college and much more.
Baron Financial Group donated 25 cases of food to the Fair Lawn Health and Human Services run food pantry.
Baron Financial Group once again sponsors the annual Rock the Mountain Music and Arts Fesitval to benefit residents of Spectrum for Living, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping adults with developmental and or phsyical disabilities.
